"Yes, Shadow King. That would be a big help." Nolan nodded.

"Well that clears the line of thought that he also reincarnated. No one who reincarnated would need someone else to tell him which raids are the best to clear." Jake thought to himself.

He then nodded back at Nolan.

"A raid that the Praetorian Guard can complete. Looking at the people there, and seeing that White Jade should be on the higher end of the spectrum, you can complete the Ogre Village Encampment Raid." Jake said.

"So if I go to a portal and type this out, I can choose this raid?" Nolan asked.

"Only a guild leader of co-leader can do it. And for your guild, with a few hundred people here, it will cost around ten silvers each to send these people there." Jake said.

"That is quite expensive." Nolan nodded.

Pffft!

"You spent what, tens of thousands of gold coins on this headquarters and you call a measly fifty or sixty gold coins expensive?" He retorted.

"Money is still money, Shadow King. You should know that. You should know the value of saving a few gold coins here and there. All of that will accumulate and will become a larger whole in the future." Nolan pointed out.

"You will only profit in sending your people to the raid. I mean, the rewards of completing a raid are just too high to skimp on the little that you have to spend in sending them there," Jake said.

"May I ask what kind of gains you have observed from the raid that you have completed? What was the first clear reward?" Nolan asked.

"You must have your spies right? Why don't you ask them? Surely they will know. I think that since I have interested you, my guild has quite a few members from Horace." Jake said.

Nolan did not respond to that. Instead, he stayed quiet, continuing to walk down this incredible long corridor.

The silence was deafening, and Jake only took it as confirmation. There was someone by his side that he couldn't trust completely. And that person was definitely close to him, for Nolan to know of his tendencies so well.

Jake could only think of one person that fit the bill, and it pained him to even think that.

So he looked forward instead, hoping it would distract him from his painful thoughts. And it seemed like it came to the rescue.

The corridor was coming to an end, and Jake could see that it took a sharp turn to the right. Nolan walked slowly toward the end, but he didn't take the turn like he Jake expected him to.

Instead, he stopped in front of the wall, and coughed a little.

Then, he tapped the wall in front of him in a few places.

Click!

Something inside suddenly clicked, and the wall started moving. The bricks that made the wall started moving aside, and this time, Jake was reminded of the classic scene he had seen in the age old movie of those wizards who ran around as kids.

The wall moved to the sides, and a door was created.

"Just how many fake doorways do you have in this place? What is so precious that you would need this many precautions for it?" Jake asked.

"There are people that I don't trust with this information." Nolan said.

"And you would trust me? That concerns me. Why would you trust a stranger more than you would trust someone in your own guild?" Jake asked.

"I trust everyone who is on the floor right now. Everyone here knows exactly what this is, and will know better than to steal from me. And as for those above, the ones in the secret hall that you saw are also quite respectable people. They are good seeds."

"But at the end of the day, there are only so many people that I can trust with this information. And you, you give me a good feeling. You are someone that I can invest in." Nolan said.

"I think I made this clear before. I am not going to sell even a fraction of Bright Horizon until I want to. Selling a part of it now will only give me a loss." Jake said.

"I do not want a part of Bright Horizon boy. It is a very special guild, and I do not see any value in a guild like that. After all, I have see many companies like that. Companies that only exist because of a certain person who holds it al together."

"In my eyes, the value of that company is not the value of the employees that work there. It is the value of the person holding it together. That person is worth even more than the company itself." Nolan said.

"And you are someone like that. Someone I see immense potential in. I have seen your face twitch many times on the way here. And I guess you would have figured it out even if I didn't clue you in until now. But what you are thinking is about half right. The person that told me about you, and the reason that I wanted to meet you is him." Nolan nodded.

"So Myriad Arrows is a spy for Horace? I guess I shouldn't have given that much to him." Jake sighed.

"Do not get the poor boy wrong. He did nothing wrong. In fact, he is not coming to the Roman Empire at all. He is going to stay in Bright Horizon. And that was his decision, not mine. He wants to stay in Bright Horizon, and I cannot stop him. So I can only hope that you will help him out. I can only hope that the environment that he is in will be the best possible. And that is why I am showing you this. Horace's treasury."
