In the CEO's office of Faust Group in Bardoff City, Alec frowned as he looked at the clues

that Vincent had found. "The plane eventually landed on an island in Monaerim? Where is

this place?"

"It used to be unclaimed territory. The Monaerim government put it up for auction, and

someone bought it. We couldn't find out the specific situation, " Vincent answered.

After a moment of silence, Alec speculated, "It seems that the entire island is under Evan's

control, so it's almost impossible for us to launch a rescue attempt there.’

The person who bought the island was most likely Evan. He set up this place as his

stronghold, which was actually quite clever.

"What should we do then? Should we send some people to take a look first?" Vincent

asked. As someone who had worked with Alec for many years, he knew how important

After Vincent left, Alec buried himself in work again. He had to handle things quickly and

then go save Jenny.

One week later, Evan's injuries had almost healed. It had been two weeks since they'd left

Bardoff City. During this time, Jenny didn't show any unusual behavior. Although she was

still not very friendly toward Evan, she didn't speak harshly to him either.

"Jenny, how do you like this island?"

Jenny was sitting on the beach, looking at the endless sea, but she wasn't admiring the

Hearing Evan's voice, Jenny came back to her senses. "It's beautiful, but one will get tired

of even the most beautiful places if one looks at it every day."

"You're tired of this? Do you want to go shopping?" Evan sat next to her.

Jenny's eyes lit up at his words, and she asked eagerly, "Really?"

"Of course, I dont want to keep you trapped here, Jenny. Do you understand?" Evan looked

Jenny chuckled and stood up. "Then let's go. I've been wanting to have a look around for a

long time.’

To be honest, she didn't even know which country she was in right now. Howard had taken

away everything she could use to communicate with the outside world, and she felt like

she was living in ancient times.

Evan saw how happy she was and didn't refuse. "Okay."

Soon, the jet started, and Evan took Jenny to the city. Howard wanted to say something,

but in the end, he kept his mouth shut. He just followed along, keeping an eye on Jenny to

prevent her from doing anything unexpected. Jenny didn't mind and acted as if she hadn't

noticed.

After an hour of flying, they finally landed in the city of Duxdence in Monaerim, and Jenny

learned where she was through the airline announcement at long last.
