Chapter 1110 Keep You Trapped Here

In the CEO's office of Faust Group in Bardoff City, Alec frowned as he looked at the clues

that Vincent had found. "The plane eventually landed on an island in Monaerim? Where is

this place?"

"It used to be unclaimed territory. The Monaerim government put it up for auction, and

someone bought it. We couldn't find out the specific situation, " Vincent answered.

After a moment of silence, Alec speculated, "It seems that the entire island is under Evan's

control, so it's almost impossible for us to launch a rescue attempt there.’

The person who bought the island was most likely Evan. He set up this place as his

stronghold, which was actually quite clever.

"What should we do then? Should we send some people to take a look first?" Vincent

asked. As someone who had worked with Alec for many years, he knew how important

Jenny was to him. Therefore, even if the rescue mission would be as difficult as going to

the moon, Alec would still do it regardless. It was impossible for him to give up on this.

Alec remained silent as he formulated a plan. After a while, he said, "Send people but be

careful not to get too close to the island. Investigate the surrounding area first, but don’t

be too obvious. Make sure not to let Evan's people notice."

"Okay." Vincent nodded.

As he turned to leave, Alec added, "Things have been relatively stable for Faust Group

recently. Keep an eye on things after I leave."

"Understood." Vincent could foresee that Alec would most likely be going overseas soon.

After Vincent left, Alec buried himself in work again. He had to handle things quickly and

then go save Jenny.

One week later, Evan's injuries had almost healed. It had been two weeks since they'd left

Bardoff City. During this time, Jenny didn't show any unusual behavior. Although she was

still not very friendly toward Evan, she didn't speak harshly to him either.

"Jenny, how do you like this island?"

Jenny was sitting on the beach, looking at the endless sea, but she wasn't admiring the

view. She was feeling hopeless as she took in the scenery.

After observing everything for some time, she deduced that the whole island belonged

completely to Evan, and everyone in the castle was his subordinate. If she wanted to

leave, the only way was by private jet or via a ship that was responsible for transporting

supplies. She had thought of sneaking onto the ship, but the defense was too strict, and

Evan's men were always following her, so she couldn't find an opportunity.

Hearing Evan's voice, Jenny came back to her senses. "It's beautiful, but one will get tired

of even the most beautiful places if one looks at it every day."

"You're tired of this? Do you want to go shopping?" Evan sat next to her.

Jenny's eyes lit up at his words, and she asked eagerly, "Really?"

"Of course, I dont want to keep you trapped here, Jenny. Do you understand?" Evan looked

at her, no longer hiding his feelings for her.

Jenny chuckled and stood up. "Then let's go. I've been wanting to have a look around for a

long time.’

To be honest, she didn't even know which country she was in right now. Howard had taken

away everything she could use to communicate with the outside world, and she felt like

she was living in ancient times.

Evan saw how happy she was and didn't refuse. "Okay."

Soon, the jet started, and Evan took Jenny to the city. Howard wanted to say something,

but in the end, he kept his mouth shut. He just followed along, keeping an eye on Jenny to

prevent her from doing anything unexpected. Jenny didn't mind and acted as if she hadn't

noticed.

After an hour of flying, they finally landed in the city of Duxdence in Monaerim, and Jenny

learned where she was through the airline announcement at long last.
