Chapter 1103 I'll Be Back, Alec

"Miss Walter, the boarding gate is over there!" Howard shouted when he saw Jenny

walking in the wrong direction.

Evan grabbed him and shook his head. "She won't come with us."

Howard was stunned, trying to process what was going on. Just as he was in a state of

confusion, a gunshot rang out, and a bullet hit Evan in his left chest!

"Boss!"

"Evan!"

Jenny heard the gunshot and turned to see Evan getting hit. She immediately rushed over

to him. At that moment, more gunfire sounded, and quite a few people joined the

gunfight.

"Damn it! They were waiting for this chance!" Howard cursed. After all this time, he

thought the people who held a grudge against Evan had given up. It turned out they had

been waiting to ambush him there.

Jenny didn't know what was going on; she only knew that Evan needed to be taken to the

hospital immediately.

"Howard, cover me. I'll take Evan and leave first." Jenny looked around at the chaos and

thought it was unwise to stay there any longer.

Howard nodded, and Jenny pushed Evan out of the VIP lounge. Howard provided cover,

and soon a few more people joined them-they were Evan's remaining subordinates. Most

of the others had already gone abroad, and only a few stayed behind to protect him. They

thought they would get to leave soon, but none of them expected something like this to

happen.

Jenny was about to exit via the corridor with Evan but was stopped by Howard. "Miss

Walter, board the plane!"

Jenny frowned, "I'm not going abroad with you. If you want to save Evan, let him come

with me to Bardoff Hospital."

Just as she thought Howard would compromise, he suddenly turned the gun toward her

and threatened, "Miss Walter, the boss likes you, but I don't. I would have killed you long

ago if it hadn't been for his sake. Now, listen to me and board the plane!"

Since their enemies had already taken action, they would not continue to stay in the

country. With only so few of them here, staying behind meant death. As for Jenny, she

would have to come with them too. Otherwise, Evan would just go back to her right away

after he woke up.

Jenny gritted her teeth in fury. "Howard!”

"If you don't go, we'll all die here today!" Howard made it clear that if she didn't board the

plane, none of them would be leaving, which left Jenny unsure of what to do.

Evan had already passed out, and the bullet wound was still bleeding. "He needs to be

saved now. If you make him board the plane, you're letting him die!"

"You don't need to worry about that!" Howard retorted coldly. Since he dared to let Evan

board the plane, he was confident that he wouldn't have any problems.

At that moment, another person rushed in—it was Alec. He wasn't worried about Jenny at

first because he knew she wouldn't leave with Evan.

However, he still felt uneasy and came to the airport. He just didn't expect to witness such

a scene.

"Jenny!" Alec saw Jenny being held at gunpoint by Howard and became furious. "Let her

go! I promise to let Evan leave safely." His men were on their way, and as long as Howard

released Jenny, he could ensure the safe departure of Evan and his team.

Unfortunately, Howard didn't care about what he said.

"Miss Walter, do you really want to watch him die? The longer you delay, the higher the

chance of his death," Howard said to her.

Jenny looked at the unconscious Evan and couldn't bear to leave him to die just like that.

So, when Howard forcibly pushed her toward the boarding gate, she didn't resist.

"Jenny! Don't go!" Alec followed behind, but Howard's men fired at him mercilessly. Since

they were leaving anyway, they weren't afraid to shoot at Alec.

Jenny smiled helplessly and shook her head at him, indicating that he shouldn't take the

risk.

'Til be back, Alec."
