Elliot’s beasts were so violent with their attacks that none of the dead giant fire ants were left with an intact body.

Their body parts were flung in all directions and were scattered everywhere!

GROAR!!

KRAAAA!!

Elliot’s beasts filled the air with their ferocious roars. There was not a single cry of pain, not a single roar of fear!

After just ten short minutes, the first wave of the beast tide was over.

It was a massacre!

Before Elliot’s beasts, the giant fire ants were so weak that none of his tamed beasts and apostles were even pushed to exert half their strengths!

Which, of course, was a point immediately raised by Red.

“What? It’s over already? It’s not even ten minutes! I hadn’t even exerted a fifth of my strength!” Red squawked.

“Yeah! Just now, I barely even looked at one, and it exploded!” Red said loudly, not willing to be outdone by Brock, and completely ignoring the fact that his boasting had completely left physics and logic behind. Very, very far behind.

However, they weren’t given much time to boast.

[Second wave – Ravenous Blood Bats]

A notification rang out quietly in their minds just a second before a deafening wave of high pitched sounds smashed into them!

“Not good. We can’t afford to drag this fight out for too long!” Wu Kong shouted. “Even five minutes of exposure to this sound would be dangerous for us!”

“Let me clean up this wave for us, big bro.” Jessica called out to Elliot.

“Hmmm? Sure. Go ahead and do whatever you want.” Elliot agreed. It wouldn’t be too late for him to take action after Jessica if she failed.

“Please get your beasts to stand within five meters of the tower.” Jessica said.

“You all heard her. Retreat! Hug the tower!” Elliot ordered.

All of them immediately scrambled towards the tower. They knew that Jessica wielded a sort of powerful black fire as her primary element, and none were keen to be her collateral damage.

As soon as Elliot’s beasts had got out of the way, Jessica spread her hands out wide to her sides and slowly began to spin clockwise in the air.

It was unknown to Elliot when exactly it happened, but Jessica had turned into a very beautiful and majestic young woman who had a deeply melancholic aura around her.

Her black hair had turned dark maroon, and a silhouette of a stunning black phoenix appeared from behind her.

KEEEEHHH!!!

The regal cry of the black phoenix sounded from the silhouette and instantly triggered a powerful deluge of energy to surge towards Jessica from all directions.

Like a Goddess slowly awakening from her sleep, the black phoenix started to coalesce into form, and a hauntingly beautiful but also horrifying aura started to radiate from it.

Stronger, and stronger, and stronger the aura grew, bursting past Emperor level in strength, and approaching Hegemon level with startling alacrity.

The air around her started to swirl in response to the vast amounts of energy that was making their way to her.

The black phoenix behind her was like a thirsty monster who seemed intent to suck all of the water dry from a giant lake!

On and on the energy surged into the black phoenix, and higher and higher the black phoenix’s power rose.

Everyone’s eyes grew wider and wider every second. They had all expected the aura to stop increasing in strength, but they had to revise their prediction again and again and again.

“She… she’s not at Hegemon level, is she?” Khellendra mumbled dumbfoundedly to Khalendros.

“No, she’s not even at Emperor level.” Khalendros murmured in reply.

“But this… boundless strength… unbelievable! It’s still rising!!” Khellendra couldn’t help but cry out.

However, as soon as the words left her mouth, Jessica’s aura finally stabilized just a tiny distance away from Hegemon level strength.

“A King, wielding the power of a Peak Emperor… Amazing. Am I making a mistake by not taking the Life Seeds and Living Armor from Elliot?” El’Taras wondered as he beheld Jessica’s strength first hand.

“And Elliot had yet to reveal his strength after his insane absorption of so many Dragon Blood Essences. Such exquisitely rare blood essences, even I was tempted to take them from you. Tsk tsk. And to think you actually managed to combine all the blood essences so smoothly! I doubt that even I would be able to do such a crazy thing. Ah, this Elliot.

It has been such a long time since I get so excited watching a Game! I am even anticipating what he will show me next! Wonderful! Wonderful! He deserves a reward. Let me see… Seven waves. Alright, I’ll give you a bonus eighth wave with the richest rewards…” El’Taras said with a rare smile on his face.

His unique and powerful observational skill had allowed him to spy on Elliot when he was secretly absorbing the other Dragon Blood Essences underground, and thus he knew about the blood essences.

He was able to excitedly anticipate Elliot’s show when the rest of the universe was still shocked about Jessica.

However, all the others around Jessica didn’t manage to deal with her show of strength as calmly as El’Taras did.

“What? Master! Is she stronger than you? I have never felt you release so much power before!” Brock shouted loudly.

“The sister is actually stronger? Damn! I signed the contract with the wrong master! Damn it!” Red shouted as well.

“Big bro! Jessica is so strong!” Jennifer gasped in awe.

“I had no idea she had developed her power to this level!” Elliot couldn’t help but be seriously impressed by Jessica.

“Jennifer, you too can reach that level. You have the same Darklight energy, and the bloodline that runs within you is also extremely powerful.” Elliot said to her.

“I know. I will definitely train hard and catch up to her!” Jennifer clenched her little fist and smiled confidently.

At that moment, a truly enormous flock of bats appeared on the horizon from all directions, and the sharp, high pitched sound grew louder.

The flock was so dense that they actually blotted out the sun completely. Wherever they passed, day turned into the darkest of night!

Jessica looked at the bats and smiled the smallest of smiles.

And then she said very softly.

“Darklight Flame Apocalypse.”
