least I haven’t heard any news of their breakup.”

A gleam of light flashed in Nina’s eyes, “You have no relationship with Alex?”

Candice was very calm. “If you insist, he is my former boss, but I am no longer an employee here.”

Nina looked at her with an increasingly playful expression. After a moment, she looked behind Candice

and suddenly smiled, “Did you hear that? She said you are just her former boss.”

Candice paused, then turned her gaze. She saw Alex standing two steps behind her.

dull, “Didn’t I ask you to wait in the office?”

As he was addressing Nina, Candice bit her lip, shifting her gaze away.

Nina smiled and said, “The office is a bit boring. I cout for a look. Besides; my mother has always

praised your company’s management, askingto learn from you.”

Alex nodded, “Sure. If you need anything, go find Julie.”

Nina grew up as the pampered darling, and when she spoke, there was always a hint of indulgence.

However, it didn’t make people dislike her. Instead, it felt like she was being demure.

Candice looked at Sawyer, who was following Alex, and her lips moved slightly, but she didn’t say

anything.

On the other hand, Sawyer, upon seeing her, smiled slightly. “Candice, cwith me.”

Candice nodded and turned to follow Sawyer into the small meeting room.

refuse.”
