I moved towards our shelter and when I was close enough, a guy with a sword and shield shouted "Who goes there!". I didn't respond and moved forward. As I moved forwards, my silhouette became more visible. The guy was a bit stunned when he saw me and shouted "Stop! Don't get closer!" to which I stopped and said "Pack your stuff and leave my home or stay here for eternity". He was stunned again and said "This is your home? Doesn't matter, leave before I deal with you!".

I snorted and didn't respond anymore. I simply threw a dozen of daggers and killed the guy. Although he had a shield with him that was protecting some of his body, I also had skills that would allow me to kill him when he least expected it. When the guy died I moved forward. Then another person came out of our shelter and looked at me.

He said "Why did you kill him?". I stopped again and said "Leave my home or stay here for eternity. I don't care where you go". The guy that just came out was also stunned but this time he was more intelligent and shouted "Enemy". I didn't bother with that guy anymore as I threw more daggers to take care of him. These people were tired after such a long fight and escape. If I were to face them while they were in their prime, I would not be so up front and I would deal with them sneakily.

More people came out of our shelter and grabbed their weapons. The woman who used her fists to fight shouted "Why did you kill them? So what if this is your home, does that give you the right to kill?!" I didn't want to listen to those stupid morals. This shelter was built by mine and Shelly's hands, well more like Shelly's legs but it was my territory and no one was allowed to just barge in like that while at the same time trying to make me leave.

I said to Shelly "Kill them". Shelly nodded and ran straight at the group. When the group saw a turtle running towards them, their faces showed mockery. What they didn't expect was Shelly accelerating and ramming into them.

"Boom!" the group of humans flew into the air and some flew back into our shelter. One out of 5 people died instantly as he took the attack head on, the rest was incapacitated and unable to pick themselves up. I walked slowly towards our shelter to finish off the rest that managed to survive. When I arrived in front of the guy who wielded an axe, he looked at me with rage in his eyes but said nothing. I threw my dagger at his head and killed him in one shot.

The others were terrified and tried to either run or grab their weapons and fight. The next guy I stood in front was a sword wielder. I could see fear in his eyes and he should be fearful for what followed was his death. Then I stood in front of the woman that used the bow. Her arm was broken and she couldn't move very well. When she saw me she screamed "No, please don't kill me. Just spare us, we will leave". To which I responded "You had your chance" and threw my daggers.

Only one person was remaining. It was the woman who used her fists in order to fight. When she saw what happened to her companions, she screamed "Why do you have to kill us!? We did nothing to you, we just stayed here to rest and heal our wounds!". I got closer and said "That is none of my problems. This is my home and you invaded it, you also wanted to get rid of me". She looked at me and didn't know what to say. I found it funny that she seemed to be so righteous and yet she was lost for words. I got my daggers ready to kill her when she said "I'll do anything you want, just let me live" to which I said "I'm not interested" and threw my daggers.

That day, the whole group of humans, who fought a horde of animals died mostly because of me. They didn't die because they were not skilled in their arts or because there were too little of them but because they thought that Great Forest is a playground.

We needed to discard the corpses when I noticed Shelly eating one of the dead guys. It wasn't a pleasant sight to see a human being eaten by Shelly but I figured that meat is meat for Shelly and it doesn't care where it came from. 'I only hope it will not eat me' I thought then said "If you want, eat them. To me they are just bodies. Just remember not to eat me, HAHAHHAH". Shelly looked at me as if I was crazy and continued eating. Then I remembered "Right! Don't destroy anything on them, it might be valuable so watch out what you eat!". Shelly nodded and continued eating. I entered our shelter and noticed a lot of blood on the floor as well as beds. I took off the animals skins and took them outside. I then collected some water and washed them as well as the floor inside our shelter. I wasn't a crazy bastard that like to sleep in blood. Fortunately I had more fur in my bag and we could use that while the washed fur dried.

Shelly came over to me while I was doing laundry and motioned that it had finished eating. I said "OK, let's check what they had on them". I came closer to what used to be a sword wielder and there were bones as well as guts everywhere, of course besides his clothing and weapon. I said to Shelly "You created a lot of mess. Either way, let me see what he had on him". I searched the guy's clothes and found nothing of interest. There was a book on swords but I didn't use swords so it was useless for me.

He had no money on him nor rations. 'It's weird that he had nothing besides this book. Oh well, maybe I will find something on others' I thought. I took the sword as it was the only valuable thing on him, maybe besides the book. Then I moved on to the next person. The next guy was also a sword user. I only found a sword as well as the same book on him and thought 'This is getting weirder. They had no money or any other possessions'. The 3rd sword user was the same. I was baffled by that. 'Why would those 3 guys have exactly 2 possessions only?' I thought. Not only they had the same amount of possessions but also the same possessions. 'Maybe they were guards? They studied the same skill and received their weapons from someone?' I didn't know and it wasn't that important for me to think about it in depth. I then moved on to the guy that wielded the axe.

I searched the corpse or rather what was left of it and found more stuff this time. Besides the axe, there were some gold coins as well as some weird looking emblem. There was an axe with wings attached to it displayed on that emblem. I wondered what it could represent but couldn't figure out anything so I simply took it. The guy also had a bottle of something. At first I thought it was some kind of medicine but it was alcohol.

I thought 'I don't need alcohol' and threw it far away but I didn't hear any crashing noise. I thought 'What the hell? it didn't break?', I stood up and went to retrieve the bottle. I threw it harder at the ground but it didn't shater. I was a bit stunned "What the hell is this bottle made out of?" I said and decided to keep it. This would be useful in case I have to contain something that cannot break easily. Poison could be stored here and it wouldn't easily shatter like a vial.

The axe guy had nothing else on him. I didn't find any books either. I moved on to the next guy who wielded a shield and a sword. The shield was wooden with some steel elements and reinforcements. I never used shields so this was useless to me as well. I also had a look at the sword and it was grade better compared to those used by the other 3 guys. It had a large amount of purified steel in it. Of course my daggers were 100% purified steel but I was able to have them only because I worked in a blacksmith workshop and in the end, all the ingots were stolen by me.

The guy didn't have any books on him but had a bottle as well. It was not alcohol like the previous one. It contained something that had medical properties. I wasn't sure what it was but from the smell alone, it was not poisonous. I wasn't about to throw that bottle to test its strength and just kept it.

The guy also had some gold and another weird emblem. This was the same emblem that the axe guy had but this time instead of an axe, it displayed a shield. I was baffled by this and thought 'Why the hell do they need those emblems? Is it some kind of social status or something?'. I didn't know and simply pocketed that emblem as well.

Other than that he had nothing else. There remained two corpses. I had high hopes and left them till the end. Not because they were women but because they seemed to have the most unusual skills of the whole group. I hoped to find something good on them.
