In the far distance on top of a huge building that was significantly taller than the rest of the buildings around, a humanoid creature with bronze skin and a single eye in the middle of his forehead looked calmly into the distance while hundreds of wind bullets formed above his head out of seemingly thin air before shooting into the horizon with almost untraceable velocity.

His name was Old Eye, a powerful creature hailing from the Everlasting Race, a race that only existed in the Fifth and above Realms and even there were considered one of the strongest races among the rest!

They not only possessed an almost infinite amount of knowledge that none of the existing races could compete with, but they even had the ability thanks to their Blessing to learn and master all the existent techniques with twice if not thrice as fast as the others!

Furthermore, some of them that were pure Everlastings, such as Old Eye, possessed a second ability which was to see things with perfect vision, let it be a meter or a hundred miles away!

"Hm... He is quite good. Even with a lower version of the true Thunder Step Art, he is capable of avoiding all my attacks without getting hit or exhausted. I wonder if he has learned a unique technique to have such high stamina." Old Eye talked calmly to himself, all three of his eyes moving from side to side, seemingly following someone's movement that only he could see.

Naturally, those words were directed at Khal, who maybe was imperceptible from where Old Eye stood but was running and dodging all the wind bullets that came at him in the hope to take his life away from him.

"Maybe I should spice things a little bit up?" Old Eye touched his chin as he pondered, but after realizing there was no point in wasting his time he shrugged casually and waved his hand.

"Well, whatever. He would have died sooner or later, so it does not matter if death comes to claim his life sooner, right?" Old Eye muttered quietly as his eyes followed the close to hundred wind pellets he had fired a second ago or so appear around Khal far behind the horizon, sealing his fate for once and for all.

"Let your soul rest in eternal pe-"

Bam!

"Eh?" Old Eye was just about to close his eyes and say his adieu when suddenly an unexpected tremor shook the whole building below his feet while a massive and dense dust cloud in the shape of a mushroom rose high up into the air, engulfing the sky above almost in its entirety!

Old Eye seemed confused when he saw this as this was not exactly what he believed to occur, but it was not even a second later when all three of his eyes widened and snapped his head to the right only to see as a fist was already right before his nose!

"Looking for me?"

"What?"

BOOOM!

With a punch that was so powerful that turned a huge portion of the top of the building into chunks of debris just by the sheer force of the shockwave, Khal slammed his fist with all his might right into Old Eye's face, sending his figure flying through the air and into the distance like a cannonball that destroyed all the buildings in its way upon impact!

TREMBLE!

Crack! Crack! Crack!

As Khal watched with immense joy that his punch connected with the humanoid creature's face and he succeeded in delivering him a punch, a great tremor shook the entirety of the domain while several wide and long cracks appeared in the distance, each revealing different sceneries at the other side!

[Quick! That is the exit! This is your chance!]

Suddenly Nova's urgent voice appeared in Khal's head, making Khal realize that he was indeed right before the door of freedom, hence without thinking even for a second he pressed his feet firmly against the side of the building he was falling down next to and with a powerful kick, he launched himself out.

BAM!

Breaking the whole building in the process into thousands of pieces, Khal's figure shot out like a bullet from a gun and bolted through the air and the crack in the distance with lightning speed! He moved so fast that torrents of sharp wind blades were formed behind his wake, slicing through the thick walls of the buildings with seemingly ease, almost as though they were hot knives cutting into butter!

KA-BOOOM!

Several miles away on the horizon, a terrific explosion akin to an atom bomb appeared among the sea of buildings before Old Eye's figure materialized at the spot where he stood a moment ago, his eyes scanning the surroundings of the domain with deep killing intent.

"Where are you, brat? Where did you hide?!" Old Eye hissed coldly as his gaze swept through the scenery around him before he shifted his attention at the cracks in the distance and narrowed his eye.

"Space crack? Did it appear because I lost concentration for a split second?" Old Eye wondered, but as he understood way too clearly that Khal escaped through one of those space cracks he sneered and said, "If you think you can escape, you are underestimating me!"

Whoosh!

Without a single trace, Old Eye's figure blurred for a moment before he finished from his spot, unknown if he choose the right space crack that Khal chose or not.

Meanwhile, Khal was running through huge pillars of rocks with green trees on their tops, his body moving between obstacles akin to a serpent, moving with terrifying speed but also with almost complete silence!

Of course, he was running not just aimlessly as he made sure to follow the green star high above in the sky, but because he knew it was very likely that the three-eyed creature will follow him to take his revenge, he also looked for a hideout where he could hide and recover his strength.

And it was not even that long before he finally spotted a small gap at one of the rock pillar's bottom, just with the perfect size where he could squeeze himself through and hide until he felt it was safe to resume his journey.
