"So... Should we stop him, or not?" asking the question with a calm voice, Elder Rene waited patiently for Senior Lin to decide even though he already knew what her answer will be.

After pondering for a few seconds under the patient gazes of the Elders, Senior Lin sighed gently and waved her hand, "Yeah, let's stop him. There is just too much of him we don't know and why the Ancestor decided to make him a Core Disciple, so it should be the best if we don't risk the chance of him getting killed by his own two hands."

Elder Rene nodded when he heard Senior Lin's voice, and without any further hesitation, he vanished from his spot before reappearing several hundreds of meters away, right before the entrance of Khal's residence.

"Disciple Khal, I am here to talk with you." knocking on the door twice, Elder Rene waited patiently, but when he got no response even after a full minute he frowned slightly and knocked again.

"Disciple Khal, are you in there?"

And again, no answer this time either.

'Don't tell me...' as a possible scenery popped up in his mind, Elder Rene waved his hand quickly, forcing the door open with a loud 'bang' sound, and ran inside.

"Huh? He is not here?" seeing as neither of the living room, bedroom, or bathroom was occupied or locked, Elder Rene became confused and took out a sliver token from his spatial ring.

"He is not here."

"Huh? What do you mean he is not there? Where did he go then?" Senior Lin's agitated voice came from the token, showing just how distressed she was currently feeling.

Although he did not know who Khal was or what kind of background he possessed, the fact alone that their Ancestor showed fondness toward him and even ordered her to make him a Core Disciple showed his importance, hence hearing he vanished all of a sudden with the high possibility of death made her feel like choking someone to death!

"Find out where he is and stop him from using those herbs no matter what! Even if you need to force him then do it!"

"Sure, I will try my best." Elder Rene nodded and after putting the token away he sighed deeply, "What a pain in the ass..."

Swish!

The moment Elfer Rene vanished, a figure clad in strange armor suddenly emerged from a corner and laughed quietly.

"This Chameleon Armor is still good for things like this." putting his armor back into his consciousness, Khal walked before the kicked door and shook his head.

"Why did he have to use force? It's not like I have locked the door, right?"

After putting the door back to its place and locking it, Khal walked inside the bathroom and after opening the tap he began to take down his clothes and his invisible armor one by one.

"Let's see now then." taking out the boxes from his spatial ring he has bought back in the Thousand Herb Garden and placing them to the side, Khal opened the first box and took a glance at the herb in it.

It was a strand of grass with a length about to that of a pinky finger. It had a bright emerald color while the edges of it seemed extremely sharp, almost like a sword's!

"A thousand-year-old Emerald Blade Grass. A small strand of grass capable of healing almost any external wounds but also has the ability to slice your limbs off your body!" muttering those words with keen interest, Khal hummed slightly and tossed it into the water inside the bathtub.

The next item was, however, a much more interesting one. The moment he opened the lid of the small box, the temperature inside the whole room began to drop drastically, nearly falling below zero!

"Hundred-year-old Frozen Silk. A terrifyingly dangerous web from a Frozen Reaper that can deal almost incurable freezing damage to any living being." after saying those words, he tossed the herb too into the water and watched as the water began to slightly freeze, practically becoming ice in just a few blink!

The third herb was, however, the complete opposite to that of the Frozen Silk, and the moment Khal opened the lid, the almost freezing temperature in the room suddenly began to get heated, while burning hot steam rose from the box, filling the room in an instant.

"Hellflame Rose, a rare type of plant that only lives in extremely hot environments. They say that anyone that has a fire-type Blessing or ability and consumes it will experience great growth in strength, and if they are lucky their ability will undergo a mutation too!" as Khal said those words, suddenly Liza's image popped into his mind, causing his face to become slightly gloomy before turning resolute once again.

Splash!

Throwing the Hellflame Rose and all the other herbs into the water one by one, filling the bathtub almost full, Khal waved his hand gently and with his Hell Blaze, he began to boil the water.

After about 2 minutes when everything in the water got dissolved and mixed together perfectly, giving the water a slightly dark color, Khal nodded with satisfaction.

"Thanks to the Records of All Realms and the detailed tempering process written down inside it, I was able to avoid causing a fatal chain reaction between the herbs!" showing a small smile, Khal moved his body and stepped into the dark liquid before lowering his body to the point where only his head was out.

"I am pretty sure it will hurt, but..." thinking about why he was doing this, Khal took a deep breath, and after both his mind and body were ready, he began to slowly circulate the Essence inside his Essence Paths.

"ARGH!"

Feeling an immense piercing pain all over his body the very second he began to circulate his essence, Khal felt as if thousands of hair-thin needles were pierced deep into his flesh while a hot burning sensation akin to lava invaded his interior through those piercing points almost without a breather!

The sensation was akin to torture and he has yet to circulate his essence properly, even though his book just told him to do that if he hopes to temper his body properly!
