Night Crawlers. A race that is known far and wide in the Second and Higher Realms for their scary Blessing which allows them to turn literally every living into soulless but moving corpses by a simple scratch!

Every race was scared of them because of this, but luckily, they were not completely invincible as their Blessing only worked during the night, hence they were basically mortals during the daytime if they had no powerful techniques to protect themselves.

But the main reason why the three felt stupefied by Khal's decision was not this, but was because the planet he was trying to visit was in almost all-time darkness, meaning the sun was barely shining there!

He literally wishes to go to a place where his life will be in constant danger not only because of the lurking beasts there, but because of the Night Crawlers too!

Khal looked at the three in silence before he sighed and closed his eyes. Maybe they looked at him like someone who lost his mind, he was completely sane, and had many reasons to go to that hell pit.

First of all, he wants to go to Planet Thov, was because of the number of strong beasts lurking there. Killing them, he was sure he could make his Talents grow at a tremendous rate.

Of course, there is the question of why if there were many other planets with strong beasts, but Khal didn't care because this is where his very main reason comes into the picture. While Planet Thov is rich with beasts with high Cultivation Stages, the air there is also filled with dense Realm Essence!

And because he was in a hurry to get back to the First Realm, there was no better place he could wish for than this, where he could cultivate his Talents and start consuming Realm Essence to start his body refining process.

"I know it sounds ridiculous, but I have already decided on this matter. Of course, if you now do not wish to help me get there, I perfectly understand it, thus at least please send me to the closest planet to it from where I can travel there."

Roice, Darla, and Astro exchanged looks, and for a while, they didn't know what to say. Although they completely respected Khal's decision and knew that with his newly acquired armor he had a higher chance of survival, they still couldn't help but feel deeply shocked.

There were a quite few who would risk their safety just to get stronger in such fashion, as many would try and look for an easier way. Like, why risk your life if you could achive the same by simply not rushing things?

It didn't make sense at all!

Khal, however, understood their thoughts and just shook his head inwardly. He couldn't hope for them to understand the reasons nor cared if they looked at him like a madman, he already decided what he will do, no matter what.

After a few seconds of silence later Roice cleared his throat, finally breaking the silence, and said, "I see, if that is what you wish to do, I won't stop you. Everyone roams their own paths, some being harder than the rest, so it's only natural for you to do something we shouldn't do normally. Also, I know you have a solid reason why you attempt to do something so dangerous, thus why I will help you get there."

As he said those words, Roice glanced at Astro on his side and said, "Take him to Planet Thov."

At first, Astro felt surprised but quickly bowed, "Yes, my Lord."

Then he looked at Khal and said, "Please follow me. I will escort you to Planet Thov."

Khal showed a thankful smile before he turned toward Roice and Darla before he clasped his hands and bowed, "I appreciate your kindness. If I will have the chance, I will make sure to repay you."

"Haha! There is no reason." Roice shook his hand around in a refused manner, but Khal couldn't be fooled that easily. He saw clearly the anticipation in Roice's eyes, so he naturally understood he only told what he did out of formality.

Thus, Khal just smiled calmly and said, "Well then, I hope we will have the chance to meet again."

"Haha, same! We should sit down and talk with each other a bit next time, maybe next to a tea. How does that sound?" Roice smiled, startling Darla and many soldiers around by his sudden proposal.

Especially Darla. She knew the best just what kind of man his father really was and he would not offer something like that just for no reason. He always acts for a specific motive, and she knew that the best.

Maybe she missed out on something until now that she should have noticed? Darla glanced at Khal with narrowed eyes, trying to see what he missed, but alas, she saw nothing out of ordinary.

"Once I achieved what I wanted, I'm sure we will be able to talk." Khal showed a relaxed smile before bowing once again and asking Astro to show the way.

Once they couldn't be seen anymore, Darla glanced up at her father with a slight frown and asked, "What was that just now?"

"What was that, you ask?" Roice curved his lips and touched his chin before continuing, "Who knows. Maybe we have just obtained an exceptionally strong friend."

"Especially strong?" Darla raised a grow and shifted her attention where Khal could have been seen the last time, "What do you mean by that?"

However, Roice just kept smiling, only giving her a simple answer, "You will understand soon enough. Now, instead, tell me how you met with him and what happened inside the Hidden Shrine."

Inside a much smaller spaceship compared to the one Khal traveled first, Khal sat on a comfortable sofa with his eyes closed, seemingly in deep mediation.

"So you eventually decided to come back here?" a voice filled with irritation sounded in Khal's ear, forcing his head to get shaken slightly.

Turning around in the middle of greyness, Khal looked at the figure before him with a bittersweet smile and scratched his nose gently, feeling slightly awkward.

"Sorry, I was quite busy you know.. Lot of things happened."
