"Bzzzt!" "Bzzzt!!" "Bzzzt!!!"

A piercingly sharp sound of an alarm blasted through the entire eastern part of the academy. It was the region where the first-year building was located.

The loud noise of the alarm jolted all of the first-year students awake, and all of them had the similar expressions on their faces, it was one of confusion, anger, and discontent. No one knew what this alarm indicated and could only stare in thought.

At almost the same time, another set of alarm sounds rang out. This time, it was from the holo-watches of the entire first-year students.

[The Alpha Operation has been brought forward by two days. Each first-year has five minutes to gather at New Reaper Castle or face the consequences.]

The expressions of the several hundred first-year students changed and sleep vanished from their faces in a flash. New Reaper Castle isn't that far away from the buildings. At most, two kilometers far. It would require at most three minutes to get to but that is without making any sort of preparations.

They were going on an unknown mission which required loads of preparations to have a high chance of survival because no mission from the academy is completely safe but this is particularly. An hour isn't even enough for some students to prepare but the academy actually gave them five minutes, it wasn't fair!

Naturally, the entire eastern region was thrown into chaos as the student flashed from one position to another, arranging gears, foods, and clothes into a place.

There were a few people who didn't feel pressured by the situation. It was as though they didn't care to prepare or they had actually prepared ahead of time! These people took off from their buildings in the first minute, heading towards the mentioned Castle.

Times passed by slowly, like a ticking bomb, nervous waves of energy roiled off the student's bodies as they hurried towards the castle. In the fourth minute, rain of golden lightning thundered from above, striking the ground as several resounding roars of titans echoed in the process.

In the blink of an eye, a legion of Titans appeared before the dorm. The ground cracked and deformed, along with the piercing sound of wind exploding, the Titan raced towards New Reaper Castle.

By the end of the fifth minute, almost everyone had gathered within the large land of the castle. Sounds of heavy breathing escaped the lips of the students.

An envoy with the badge name Thirty stood at the roof of the castle, staring down at the students. His hair swayed along with the wind and his eyes were closed. Seeing this, two students who were two seconds late tried to sneak in.

"Swish!"

A knuckle ring arced in mid-air like a boomerang, slamming into the two students' chests, sending them flying a few meters backward with two consecutive bangs.

The dark-skinned envoy opened his eyes, revealing blue pupils within them. Stretching out his palm, the ring landed on his hand. "Go back and receive your punishment."

The other students watched on, as the two students crawled from the ground with devastating expressions on their faces.

"Although this is your first mission, do not think it will be easy-." Staring down at the students, he continued.

"-Otherwise, you will lose your lives. As it's your first mission, your priority is to survive. There's not enough time for an explanation. Check your inboxes, everything regarding the mission has been sent to you. Including the map of the location."

The flowing wind swayed from another direction, changing the angle at which the Envoy's flowing hair swayed.

"Your seat number has been randomly assigned to you and is also in your inbox. While checking the map, you can select the specific spot on the map you wish to drop. Whatever happened to you from thereon is up to you to figure out. Now, head in!"

The students hurriedly entered the Castle in a single line. The swift sound of a train starting up entered the ears of the students, building a sense of urgency within their minds of the students as they hurried into the tunnel.

Black Reaper Castle is one of the exit points of the academy and is heavily guarded and supervised by the hidden Gatekeepers. They are people with incredible strength that could even rival that of the top ten Envoys. As such, there are only four of the Gatekeepers within the academy with only one ever recognized by the students.

The interior of Black Reaper wasn't actually a castle, but a large tunnel concealing a monstrously large train underground.

The students rushed into the tunnel like a wave of ants and as soon as they burst out of the tunnel to the underground terminal, the speed of the train had reached 20Kph and was increasing with every passing second.

Although they were stunned, but those who had the ability to be admitted to War-God Academy weren't simple at all. It only took a second for them to recover as they raced after the train with explosive might! Their speed surpassed even that of the train, they jumped on board one after the other.

Several thud sounds echoed as several students leaped into the train with some landing at the top of the massive train.

In just three seconds, the speed of ten train had doubled, reaching 40kph!

Erian stomped heavily to the ground, causing a muffled thud as his body shot forwards like a missile. His speed was simply too fast as he shot towards one of the opened doors of the train.

"Whoosh!"

Like a shadow, he appeared right before the door, mounting the train in a flash. Surprisingly, a familiar figure stood before him.

Kiera Storm, the one who had spoken to him at the front of the Archive. She had told him about the statue made of Grade V Levithian that was placed as a decoration before the Archive. (1)

Numerous thoughts crossed through Erian's mind in a flash. It was no coincidence that she was directly in front of him. But for her to calculate through the hundreds of doors on the train, where exactly Erian would land, was a truly frightening ability. Dropping his large backpack on the ground, Erian smiled. "It's been a while."
