The large tonfas slammed against the Goblin King's greataxe. Keng flicked his wrist, releasing a rune onto Manny. The weight of Manny's tonfas pressed down harder while making them seem light for him. The Goblin King's body rippled as he struggled to push against the enlarged tonfas.

Ritsuka gritted his teeth as the strange feeling of void energy bubbled. He pushed forward, swinging straight for the Goblin King's leg. Angerfang hissed as it slashed against what was left of the metallic armor. The eye burned with rage as Ritsuka continued to deliver blows.

"You puny creatures! Die!" The Goblin King roared, attempting to release another [Fearful Warcry] at the humans. Manny and Ritsuka pulled away. The tonfas shrunk back to their original size as they glared at the boss.

"It doesn't work, buddy." Manny smiled. "Olivia made sure of that." Despite the Goblin King's appearance, he caught on quickly. He ran forward, swinging the large greataxe at Manny and Ritsuka. The two jumped in opposite directions, ground shattering. Keng grabbed Olivia and lifted her up while the Seer pulled Liz back into it.

The ground rippled around them as Keng quickly bubbled Ritsuka and Manny. The Goblin King lifted his greataxe and swung straight for Manny.

"You'll die first!" The Goblin King shouted. The greataxe slammed against the bubble, watching it crack instantly as more runes flared around Manny.

"Dance of Protection." Keng spoke. The Seer swirled into existence around both Ritsuka and Manny, pulling them in as the Seer's fiery energy burnt the Goblin King. The Boss howled in pain as it released its greataxe.

"The flames hurt him?" Liz asked. "But it feels fine for us. Why?"

"Do we really need to question how this spell works right now?" Manny asked. "We gotta kill this thing before he caves all of us in!" Manny and the group dropped from the Fire Fox, landing on the jagged ground. The four took position as Keng and Olivia landed, watching.

"Paralyze!" Olivia watched as the Goblin King froze in his spot, again. Manny and Ritsuka moved in for a leg. A tonfa expanded as Manny swung in sync with Ritsuka. The Goblin King broke the hold, kicking at the enlarged tonfas and sending Manny backwards. The Goblin King howled in pain as Angerfang managed to slice through the crumbling armor.

The Goblin King tumbled backwards as Manny landed against a piece of stone pointed upwards. He groaned as the tonfa shrank, scattering off to the side. He gripped one in his left hand, pushing himself up as a blast of psionic lightning flew at the Goblin King.

"Psionic Beam!" The spell hit the scarred hole in his chest. The Goblin King howled in pain as he tripped and fell onto the ground with a loud thud. Dust and rocks shattered beneath his ass as Keng lifted his hand to point at the boss.

"Split." Keng ordered Seer. Seer dropped into small Fire Foxes that held a human within. Evan and the other injured humans groaned as the Fire foxes held them. What was left of the large Fire Fox was about eight Fire Foxes. Keng's hand folded, leaving his index finger and spun clockwise once. An unwritten rune glowed as Keng drew a Fox. "Solarium: Fox Fire Barrage."

The eight Fire Foxes glowed brightly as their energy bodies rushed forward past Ritsuka and Manny. They threw themselves into the Goblin King, exploding on impact. The Goblin King screeched in pain as he caught on fire. He began to roll, panicked, while patting out the flames. This went on for a while until the Goblin King grew silent.

"Is it dead?" Ritsuka whispered. He could feel the intense heat of the burning Goblin King. The flames danced as the group slowly turned to look at the burning corpse.

"Congratulations! Team Zephyr has killed C-Rank Boss Killer Goblin King!" The comms happily chimed in.

"We killed it." Manny sighed. His body relaxed as he leaned against the protruding stone wall. The rest of the group jumped in joy as they yelled.

"We did it!" Olivia shouted.

"I can't believe we did it!" Ritsuka shouted.

"I-I thought we were goners there for a sec." Keng scratched his neck. Olivia grabbed him and made him jump with her.

"You're pretty strong, Keng! You're definitely B-rank material!" Olivia exclaimed. "So much DM to use, too! Aren't you a bit tired?" Keng could feel his reserves becoming low. If it weren't for the last move, he would've dropped. His body hurt but at least he had leeched and healed himself of life and energy.

"What do we do now?" Ritsuka asked after they had all calmed down. The group had regrouped near the Fire foxes holding humans within.

"Do we have our VIP?" Liz asked. Manny was taking this time to examine all of them. With the help of Keng, Keng could release the humans onto the ground for Manny to heal them. The Foxes would take the unconscious and healed human and Manny would repeat the process. Manny knelt beside a brunette woman. She had soot on her cheek and wore armor fit for a Fighter. Her eyes weakly opened, revealing her very blue eyes to Manny.

"Lisa?" Manny asked. The woman began to nod weakly. "Don't move too much. Small head movements are fine. If you can talk even better." Lisa nodded at Manny. "Who're the rest of these guys? Are they from your group?"

"No…" Lisa answered. "Th-they were… The VIPs my team was trying to… Find… You need… To get us… Back…"

"Will do, ma'am." Manny nodded. "Are you feeling any better?"

"My physical wounds… Aren't the problem… It's the… poison inside all of us."

"Poison?" Manny looked at the other humans. "How come I didn't notice it?" He focused his attention onto Lisa and looked at her. His eyes ignited in green energy. His dad had taught him how to channel his Dark Matter into his eyes so he could scan patients.

"You… You're students, right?" Lisa asked, coughing.

"Yes." Liz spoke up. Lisa turned her head, slightly, at her and smiled weakly.

"What year?"

"Third."

"The next set of warriors are… Great." Lisa coughed. She turned and spat blood out. Manny's face grew even more worried.

"This isnt' good." Manny shook his head. He pulled his healing light away. "She's find physically but there's a trace of some strange energy coursing within her."

"That's the… poison." Lisa replied. She lifted her arm to cover her cough. "We need the cure… To an Acidic Queen Ant."

"That's what that is?" Keng looked towards the nasty goop of liquid sizzling beneath the rocks. The smell was starting to grow too putrid for him to handle.

"T-take us… To a doctor… Who can get the poison out…" Lisa instructed. Manny and the others nodded.

"You rest." Liz told her. "Don't worry about us."

"There's a… Shortcut… Use that…"

"We already used it. Where's the gate?" Manny told Lisa. Lisa groaned and weakly lifted her arm.

"Take it…" Lisa moved her arm towards Liz. "My tracker… It'll show you…" She erupted in a fit of coughs. Liz and Manny checked to see if she was alright. Once she was, Liz took the tracker and attached it to her watch. To her surprise, a map appeared before her.

"A map of the dungeon." Liz told the group. "We can use this to get out!"

"Maybe we should give it to Keng. It'll be easier for him to navigate us out since he can literally alter gravity." Ritsuka pointed.

"Shouldn't there be a warp gate around here?" Olivia asked, looking around. "We can use that to get out."

"But there's so many rocks. How're we gonna find it?" Manny asked. Keng pulled away from the group and scanned around. He had shifted back into Lee Seng and had assumed his position as 'the Creator's son' with no Fox features. The whiskers on his face that came with his sixth tail was hard to get rid of, but with some work and shielding from Olivia, he managed to fully shapeshift.

An odd trickle noise of rain was somewhere behind him, but he couldn't detect the specific spot. His eyes glowed with a silver hue as he looked with his eyes.

"There." Keng pointed at the largest pile of rocks. He quickly made his way over and rested his hand on top of the rocks. "Yup, it's here."

"What're you gonna--" Ritsuka began to ask when all of the rocks were picked up and moved to the side. Dust and small rocks scattered about as Keng waved the dust away from his face. The sound of rain grew loudest as a large circular energy of blue and white reached upwards.

"A warp gate." Olivia gasped. "So, the dungeons do have them."

"That's so cool." Ritsuka gasped.

"C'mon, let's get these guys through the gate." Manny ordered, standing up. Keng turned and silently ordered the Fire Fox to take Lisa. He beckoned the foxes over with a single wave as his allies joined him around the warp gate.

"Who goes in first?" Liz asked.

"I should go in after the Foxes." Keng told them. He looked at Manny. "You go, Captain."

"You sure that's a good idea?" Manny asked, nervously.

"I can go if you're too scared." Ritsuka offered.

"Scared?" Manny puffed his chest up. "Who says I'm scared?"

"After you, then." Ritsuka motioned. Manny gulped and focused on the warp gate.

'It won't hurt you. It's just like the telepads. Just like the telepads.'
