The sound of wings fluttering made Lee Seng's ears twitch.

"Oh god." Lee Seng covered his ears. The quick fluttering of wings made Lee Seng think of dragonflies. "I haven't heard that noise for a long time."

"WHY DID YOU DO THAT TO ME!?! I WAS HAVING FUN! NOW MY HOME IS GOING TO BE TAKEN BY THE LIKES OF YOU!" A high female voice shouted.

"What the hell is that?" Ritsuka raised his swords as more blades shot out of the ground. The fluttering creature quickly dodged the blades.

"Enough of your jabbing!" The female creature shouted. "You might actually kill me!" The porch groaned as Keng grabbed the doorframe and held himself up. His eyes looked like they were still rolling from the impact.

"What the hell is that?" Keng pointed two feet right from the actual spot where the fluttering creature was hovering.

"Doesn't the fluttering make your ears feel weird?" Lee Seng looked at Keng.

"No. I think it's just you."

"Is it friendly?" Ritsuka asked. The fluttering creature fluttered over towards Keng.

"You smell like them. I don't like you!" The fluttering creature spoke.

"Smell like who?" Keng asked. His eyes fixed itself onto the fluttering creature. It was a small humanoid woman. It reminded Keng of a fairy. "Fairy?"

"FAIRY?!?" The fluttering creature shouted in disbelief. "H-how could you mistake me for them?!? I'm a sprite!" Keng was barraged with tiny hits.

"Ow, ow, sorry! Sorry!" Keng recoiled backwards out of the doorframe. Lee Seng and Ritsuka followed after, exiting the smelly home as the fluttering sprite continued to barrage Keng with tiny hits.

"They always mistake Sprites as faeries? Just cause we kinda look the same, doesn't mean we're the same!" The female sprite shouted. "Plus, they're WAY NAUGHTIER THAN Sprites are!"

"Okay! Okay! I'm sorry! I just said what you looked like. I won't make the mistake, again, Sprite!" Keng pressed up against a tree as the sprite gave one last barrage of hits and pulled away with her arms crossed, satisfied. The sound of the river caught her attention and she turned towards it. Her satisfied grin turned sad and she shook her head.

"It's still wrong! It's all wrong!" The sprite pouted.

"What's wrong?" Lee Seng asked. The sprite turned and looked at him before turning to look at Keng.

"We're the same." Keng answered before she could ask.

"Why did you take the form of a stinky trash monster?" Lee Seng asked.

"Stinky trash monster?!? That was years of practice after those naughty Foxes decided to play around with scripts they shouldn't have played with!" The sprite yelled. She fluttered straight up to Lee Seng and stared at him. Her yellow eyes caught his attention and the sounds of her wings fluttering started to ease on his ears. "They turned me into that monster, okay? I was so angry that I stayed in that form to scare anyone else away from staying near my wonderful home!"

"You live here?" Ritsuka asked. The shadows were pulling themselves out of the house and into his sword. He continued to hold the sword in his hands as the sprite fluttered over and nodded at him.

"Yes, I do! I was ecstatic when those Foxes came to live here! I wanted friends but they decided to make a mess of things! I mean, look! The river isn't as grand as it used to be!" The sprite pointed. Lee Seng slowly turned to look at the river. He couldn't really tell the difference.

"Did… It get smaller?" Lee Seng guessed.

"YES! It did! Can't you tell? The mold of the river bank is smaller than what it used to be! They messed with the scripts and turned me into that thing and then managed to make the river sliiiiiightly smaller! A tragedy to me!"

"Ahhh." Lee Seng nodded. They wandered over to the river. Even with sharp eyes, Lee Seng couldn't tell the difference.

'I seriously just guessed and now I have to act like I knew the difference.' Lee Seng gulped.

"Wait, so what happened to this spirit they were talking about then? I thought there were multiple spirits haunting the cabin." Keng asked.

"Spirits?" The sprite asked. She began to laugh. "Oh, that. Ha, yeah, those fools actually believed there were multiple spirits in that house?!?" She began to laugh even louder.

"So were there more spirits in there or not?" Ritsuka asked.

"Hahahahah, those fools thought there were more spirits? Psh! That's just some water magic. Those losers couldn't tell the difference after they turned me into that really cool trash thing." The sprite answered.

"Why were you sad about getting cut off from it then?" Lee Seng asked. "I thought you'd be happy to be let out." The sprite fluttered over to Lee Seng and quickly did circles around his head before hovering a couple of feet away from his face.

"I have to deal with you people again. I don't want that. Being that monster at least made nobody want to be here. Now that you've revealed my true form, I might get hunted by those Foxes for pulling such a trick!" The sprite shuddered.

"Well," Keng stepped over towards the sprite and Lee Seng. "If we clear it up with the rest, they should understand. They were in the wrong."

"Mmm," Ritsuka nodded, joining the three. "I think it was a big misunderstanding."

"You think so?" The sprite asked.

"Probably. Plus, you even got a lot of people scared of you apparently. They wouldn't want to come here anyways." Lee Seng nodded. The sprite tapped her chin for awhile and then nodded at the three boys.

"Alright, I'll take your word, but I need your help re-establishing this river." She pointed behind her. "Like you accurately observed, Fox Spirit, my home has dwindled because of the script magic they put on me! I haven't been able to take care of my home and it has shrunk to this!" She fluttered over a couple of inches away from the water and pointed. "It used to be here and now it's all the way over there! Oh, you must be so mad that your caretaker couldn't look after you!" She began to fake cry and shake her head in disappointment.

"So, what do we have to do?" Lee Seng asked. The sprite immediately stopped crying and happily fluttered back to Lee Seng's face, hugging him.

"You'll actually help me?!?" She ecastically asked. She hugged his cheek and Lee Seng could smell the nasty trash smell from her.

"Ugh, you smell. Please get off my face." Lee Seng plugged his nose. The sprite immediately pulled away and raised an arm and sniffed her pit. She immediately recoiled and covered her mouth.

"Bleh!" She imitated a barfing motion. "When did this happen?"

"Years of being in that form must've made you dirty. What even split out of you?" Lee Seng asked, waving the nasty air away from him. Ritsuka turned and moved into the doorframe. He could still smell the putrid trash smell. The place was littered with junk, liquids that split from the sprite's horrible monster form and weird chunky blobs. He scrunched his face in disgust and turned around.

"We have to clean that later, huh?" Ritsuka pointed.

"The cabin is in disrepair, so we have to fix that." Keng made a note aloud. "We have to find a carpenter who's willing to come out here."

"After we deal with the Water Sprite's problem." Lee Seng reminded them. She turned to look at the Sprite who was pulling a small stream of water and splashing herself with it. "By the way, Miss Sprite… Do you have a name?"

"Mmmm, you probably wouldn't understand the name. It's…" She began to sound like a mix of chimes and rushing water. Ritsuka shook his head, unable to even understand what she said while Lee Seng and Keng slightly heard something that sounded like 'Florabelle.'

"Did you hear that, too?" Keng tapped Lee Seng. Lee Seng turned and looked at Keng.

"Florabelle?" He answered.

"Mmm, I heard that too!" Keng pointed at Lee Seng. They both turned to look at the Sprite who had her mouth open wide, in shock.

"You understood that?!? No one understands me!" She began to speak in that chime and rushing water more and the two immediately couldn't understand.

"Uh, just a guess." Lee Seng quickly told her. "We could only hear your name. We can't understand… Sprite."

"Awh." Florabelle frowned. "I thought I'd finally met a capable Fox Spirit who could understand Sprite. Such a shame, you're missing out." Florabelle fluttered back up to hover around the three boy's eye range. "Well, since you could hear my name, at least, we should get started!" She clapped her hands together. "I need to gather some ingredients from the forest and do a quick offering to Nature! It'd be faster if you boys could do the more dangerous part of it for me!"

"Dangerous part?" Keng repeated. Florabelle nodded, happily. She fluttered closer to the three boys.
